The Colour City Rainbow Hub was established after Director, Cassandra Trengove was searching online for information on local services to support the LGBTIQA+ community and found it was hard to find local resources. As Cassandra started to connect with local services she found others were having the same difficulty, and so the Rainbow Hub was born.

The launch of the Colour City Rainbow Hub coincided with the inaugural Oranges  Rainbow Festival which was held in March 2024.

The Rainbow Hub is 100% run by volunteers and hopes to develop not only a website but a community that can provide more support to both members and allies of the LGBTIQA+ community in Orange and across Central West NSW.
